Where I will sell my service as a freelancer?

“The place where you sell your service to your clients online is called freelance marketplace”

There are several marketplaces but some are famous:

Take a look:

1.Fiverr.com:

fiverr homepage

Fiverr is almost the most popular marketplace now, As compared to Upwork and guru.com.

It is a non-traditional marketplace. Here, Freelancers make gigs about the services they sell online, then clients search for those services and find them. If both get agreed then an order is placed.

The freelancer does the work and sends it to the client, If the client approves that work then the freelancer is rewarded. By the way nowadays, There is so much competition on Fiverr. If you want to sell services there you have to really work hard.

2.Upwork.com:

upwork.com

Upwork is a marketplace famous like Fiverr but it has a different way to work. It is a traditional marketplace. Here, the client post a project, and Freelancers have to bid on it. They send proposals to clients offering their services. The client sees their proposals and if he likes any of them, Then he contacts him and orders.

Here, the amount is kept in “escrow”. Both the client and freelancer are satisfied because they know that escrow has kept their money safely. After work, If the client approves the work Then money is released from escrow to the Freelancer.

3.Guru.com:

guru.com

Guru.com  is a traditional marketplace like Upwork but it is less famous than Upwork. Here, the client post a project, and Freelancers have to bid on it. They send proposals to clients offering their services. The client sees their proposals and if he likes any of them, Then he contacts him and orders. The client approves the work and money is released to freelancers just like Upwork. On Guru.com there is less competition so you can get an opportunity there…
